How to make a white-background image: check the background and product separately.

Updated September 8, 2026 · PackScena guides

A white background helps buyers see the product clearly. Changing the background is only the first step: edges, colors, text and proportions must remain trustworthy.

Set a white background in the workspace

  1. Upload a clear photo of the complete product without hands or other objects blocking it.
  2. Enable the background color and set it to #FFFFFF Choose a different shade if you want warm white.
  3. Generate the first-product preview and select the solid-background image. Table and breakfast descriptions apply to scenes A/B, not the main image.
  4. Zoom in to compare edges, openings, shadows and original markings, then confirm each result.

White does not guarantee marketplace approval

AI may produce off-white pixels or add shadows. Inspect the actual image and your target channel's current requirements. PackScena does not guarantee every background pixel is pure white or that a marketplace will approve the image.

White backgrounds, transparency and padding

  • A white background contains a solid color. Transparency needs separate alpha processing; this tool does not currently offer a dedicated transparent cutout feature.
  • Square 1200×1200 and portrait 1200×1600 exports scale the whole image proportionally and add padding without cropping the subject.
  • Padding cannot fix a blurred original and is not AI scene expansion.

Which products need extra care?

Transparent glass, white products, metal reflections and fine text may blend into the background. Check that handle openings remain open, white edges are visible and patterns have not been redrawn.
